INDOOR ROCK CLIMBING AT DALLAS ROCKS
9201 Forest Lane, Dallas – [masked]
Saturday, February 11, 2012 - 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Come experience the thrill of rock climbing or just come to watch. Dallas Rocks is an indoor rock climbing that boasts over 14,000 square feet of climbing surface. They are split 50/50 between bouldering and route climbing surface, giving them more bouldering surface than any other gym in the state. With 14 and 16 foot top out bouldering and 35' route walls, Dallas Rocks is sure to excite climbers of all ages, ability levels and disciplines.
The Works Day Pass is $21 (which includes day pass, shoes, harness, chalk bag and belay lessons - $15 for just harness, day pass and belay lessons), but if you look around at some of the coupon deals (Yipit, Groupon, etc., you may be able to find some really good deals). We’ll climb every mountain (I hear a song out there somewhere), and then we’ll celebrate our accomplishments and embellish our stories at a local restaurant.
Please RSVP so I can give them a heads up as to how many to expect, so we are sure to have enough gear waiting for us.
I'm a newbie too but I've taken my nephews. They will go over everything with us first and hopefully Teri (and any other experienced folks) can walk us through it
LOL, while it looks that way, most definitely not. But it does seem to be a good activity for a smart single guy to attend :-)
lisa, i've done this before (but am not claiming to be an expert!) - it's a hard workout, but you are teamed up with a partner, so you are only climbing 50% of the time. the other 50%, you are belaying (supporting) your partner and therefore.. resting. :-) don't worry, you'll be fine!
Thanks Lucy. It will be nice to have "experts" there. Lisa, come anyway. If you're concerned about aggravating your elbow, you can watch this time and just have fun laughing at me :-)

Teri and Lisa, looking forward to seeing you both again!
