"We all HAVE STORIES TO TELL. Do you need help telling yours?"

Those of us who are in business have stories to tell designed to attract new customers and increase sales. Are you struggling with how to tell your story successfully? Veteran PR professionals Jerry Brown and Jane Dvorak will show you how to get your story heard, understood and remembered by the people important to your success. And they’ll show you how to build the foundation for your story with some important steps that many people skip when telling their stories.

Jerry Brown committed journalism for 20 years and has been practicing PR even longer than that. As a journalist, he’s worked for The Associated Press; U.S. Information Agency; and three daily newspapers, including the Rocky Mountain News. As a PR practitioner, he spent 17 years on the corporate PR staff of U S WEST (now CenturyLink) and has been an independent practitioner for more than a decade. He’s an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and a former board member of PRSA Colorado. For some advanced insight into Jerry's company:

Jane Dvorak is an accredited member of PRSA and a PRSA Fellow. She’s celebrating nearly 30 years as a PR professional. She calls herself a Consultalancer© -- a one-stop shop for strategic planning and project implementation. Jane is a former president of PRSA Colorado and a former member of PRSA’s national board of directors. She has won numerous awards, including: a Silver Anvil, PRSA’s highest honor for professional work. She received PRSA Colorado’s Swede Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012 and was named PRSA Colorado’s Mentor of the Year in 2013.  ...Together, Jane and Jerry have presented a number of workshops -- including two presentations at PRSA national conferences.

This educational talk and take-away handout(s) are again the latest in moving your business forward in 2014.  Our group networks the first 15 minutes with introductions; and then enjoy a fabulous lunch buffet with desert while you listen to our speaker.  We are averaging 20 to sometimes 26 people via our various rsvp channels, so join us.  Don't forget business cards and perhaps some information on your company.  Come out and meet our group of business Owners and Directors, and the many leaders within our South-Denver community that attend these events each month.  Again, the direct lunch cost includes tax and is collected at the door upon entry.  PAYMENTS:  .... Cash preferred, checks a 2nd preference to "Lone Tree Chamber," and CC will also be accepted but call ahead for this.  Contact David Gardner, Ambassador for the Chamber, with any questions; david@webconnectiondenver. com

This is very timely for me as we at the GACC have been considering developing both a standard "elevator" pitch and a short organization promotional overview for our board members to use in appropriate situations. Looking forward to this Biz Connect luncheon.

Great news Fred. So glad this timing is working well for you. It should be a quality presentation by these two. Your comments are "right up their alley" in terms of the content of this educational presentation to our group. See you tomorrow (thur)! Thank you.
