Long Beach Edible Gardening & Sustainable Living Meetup group is a place where novice and experienced members with interest in growing some of their own food &/or learning about living more sustainably could meet to learn and share meals, resources and experiences, buy in bulk, swap fruit or veggies, cuttings, seeds, support each other, socialize and get together to have fun! You do not have to have a garden to participate, this is about a mindset of living sustainable lifestyle and building a supportive community around you.

Among our past activities and topics Seed Exchange, Introduction to Permaculture,  visit to CalEarth Inc., School Garden Volunteer Day, Yogurt Making, Visiting a Farm in San Diego, Harvest Bazaar, Bulk Purchase of Organic Farm Fresh Eggs, Organic Olive Oil and Cold Packed Honey, Compost Workshop, and Meetings to discuss Gardening.
