Classic Yoga on Wednesday - Our Original Meetup Group!!

Welcome Long Beach Yoga Lovers!!

Our classes are for EVERYONE - as long as you can breathe, stretch and relax!  So any level will have FUN!

The beautiful thing about Yoga is that it isn't about competition, judgement, expectations, or a destination..It's simply starting right where we are today!

If we each leave feeling a little bit better than when we arrived and create a space of peace and calm for ourselves!  We are on to something Great!!

NOTE:  If you need a yoga mat - please let me know - I want to make sure everyone has a mat!  Makes it much more comfortable.  I am sure we will figure out other items that we may want to bring with us as we go along.

The above pictures are the 12 basic poses that make up a Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar). We will concentrate on getting this flow established and will branch off with variations, add in floor work (seated bends, spine twists, backward bending poses) and end with a beautiful 7 minute Shavasana!
