This is something that was posted on FaceBook & the word has spread. HOWEVER I don't know if ANYONE has obtained a permit so I guess this is kinda up in the air I guess. For more info:[masked]/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular&source=1

COOL!! Not sure what channel they are but that was the ONLY news coverage I've seen. NONE of the "major" networks up here showed or said ANYTHING about us! ONLY the anti-frackers.

Good event. We converted some people and helped them understand that owning a gun is every Americans right. I was annoyed at cuomos barrier tactic, putting up vendor booths to block the legislators view of the protest. Astorino was there and someone said he said he is running for governor and will repeal the safe act. If true, this is huge. There is no way this law will be repealed without getting rid of Cuomo. This is another reason why it is so important for us to be at events like this. Our leaders and prospective leaders must know that we the people will not tolerate having our rights trampled. I know Oathkeepers can't endorse a candidate but they can make it known who is for and who is against our constitution and Oathkeepers should be a powerful force in informing people of who is and who isn't an ok.

Eventho we were outnumbered by anti-frackers we had a decent turnout.

UPDATE to the rally today: All the different groups are going to be meeting on the concourse I will be around McDonald's. Being that it's going to be a madhouse with ALL the different groups being there I would say try & get there early. I'm shooting to be there around 1130.

Maybe we should also have some protest folks at the local sellout Republicans who sold us all out on January 15...
    Just a thought.

I think it is very important that we make a statement about what the state of the state is. No matter what Cuomo says, the truth is that 52 of 62 counties in NY do NOT want his "common sense" gun law. Not only are many thousands of taxpayer dollars being wasted on this, but it is a heinous violation of our civil rights. If we dont stand up for the second amendment, no one will. Not to mention that NY is near last for being business friendly and near the top for having the highest taxes and to solve this problem, NY is spending taxpayer money to advertise to out of state people to come into to NY and open a business, tax free for 10 years. Great way to help NY businesses, bring in competition from out of state that can undercut existing businesses because they pay no tax. Great way to reward loyal subjects.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
