Hi guys! I was looking around meetup.com and was unsatisfied with the number of meaningful networking events hosted here on Long Island. Yes, there are a ton of events in Manhattan but who wants to shlep out there when we have our own economy to support. There is a vibrant community of professionals here on the island and we should all come together especially in these not so stable times. I am proposing a meetup of local professionals so that we can network, connect and help eachother prosper.

Who Should Join

If you are a small business owner, entrepreneur, executive, real estate professional or anyone else for that matter who is looking to meet other like minded professionals with the desire to expand your network then this meetup is for you. To put it simply we arent picky but we must set some guidelines and I think the most important would be to come dressed appropriatly. The dress code is Business Casual.

Environment

I will be speaking with elegant, clean and classy local establishments to host our events. Places that come to mind are Hemmingway's in Wantagh and Peppercorns in Hicksville. Both have great happy hour pricing for any day of the week. If anyone knows of any other locations for our meetup please let me know.
