Intro 3D Printer Training and Open House

Join us this Saturday to check out TinkerMill (open to the publc) and to get your hands on tutorial from Jordan, our 3D printing expert.

Jordan will be giving several 45-ish minute hands on tutorials from 11am to 4pm or so to groups of 2-4 people on how to use the Rostock Max 3D Printer.  Please note, this is not a 'how to create a design' for the printer.  It's how to take an existing model (100's of thousands exist on the interwebs) and print it on our specific combination of software and hardware.

Drop in and join the tutorial anytime Jordan's teaching.

Blew another fuse in the middle of a print. Third time, same print, same spot, different temperatures. Working on it!

So, last night right after I left, the printer blew a fuse, one of the surface mount fuses. One of the guys that made it has a reprap at home and is going to go get a small fuse that we need. It should hopefully be up and running in a hour or two.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
