All about Composites. Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber production

This is a meeting to discuss what people want to get out of this.

You should be thinking about the kinds of things you wish to make from FIBERGLASS. Bring with you one or multiple pieces you wish to mold. If it is too big, just bring a picture or 3.

I will discuss what makes a part moldable, and the process that is typically gone through to make a reproduction of something out of fiberglass or carbon fiber. I will also discuss costs. The material costs can scale linearly with the size of the part, but they can also scale exponentially.

We will only be working with fiberglass to start. There will be no use of carbon fiber right now, unless you want to purchase it yourself.

I think I'll run this, and then tomorrow at the meeting talk with anyone that missed it, get them in the loop as to what is going to happen after this first meeting.

I have no idea what I'd do with the power of fiberglass. But I'm curious, so I'll be there.
