The University of Washington offers a Massively Open Online Course (MOOC) on the topic of Computer Networks, through the Coursera Platform. https://www.coursera.org/course/comnetworks People who are taking the MOOC can come to our once (or twice?) a week meetup at TinkerMill to discuss the subject in depth. The intent is to create a dynamic learning atmosphere. Everyone from experts to novices are welcome, we'll learn from each other! We hope that everyone who comes leaves with new insights into computer networks. We intend to incorporate tools and experiments into our experience to enhance our understanding of the networked world. We'll certainly use https://wireshark.org/, there's also interest in http://secdev.org/projects/scapy/ http://www.secdev.org/projects/scapy/doc/usage.html .
