Fiber To The Home (FTTH) for everyone. FTTH Internet access plans that provide the same bandwidth upstream as downstream with no throttling, no censorship, nothing to impeded innovation and job creation. Its sad (and telling) that its July 2012 and there are less than 30 communities (Map: http://is.gd/HCi80q) in the USA that provide the above. Should it be called Broadband when the service provider throttles bandwidth to below the FCC definition for Broadband, 768Kbps? I would make it illegal for a provider to take Billions (200B+ since 1990) in legislated taxes, increased service fees and taxpayer funded grants for Fiber and not provide it, they would lose their monopoly/licenses to provide service. Did you know that FTTH increases the resale value of your home by $5,000? FTTH would add $500 Billion to our national GDP. After FTTH is installed, it costs less than .50 cents per 1GB (1000Mb) or less than $1 per 2GB of bandwidth to operate and provide. Hey you asked... ;-)
