So join us for John's insights on how to make money investing in real estate in this chaotic marketplace on October 10th.
John Schaub is a full time real estate investor who authored the original single family house seminar in 1976 which launched thousands on their way to successful investing. He is still an active buyer and engaged in managing his business and investments when not traveling with his family or building homes for Habitat for Humanity. He teaches only three seminars a year.
John Schaub has survived seven presidents, and prospered during three recessions, four major tax law changes, and interest rates ranging from 6% to 16% in his 35 years as a real estate investor. He taught the first class in San Diego on investing in houses, Making It Big On Little Deals in 1976.
John discovered that most of the Big Deal braggarts had small bank balances. John emphasizes keeping it simple. He talks only about what he has done and what has worked and sometimes not worked for him. John spends nearly all of his working time making deals and managing his properties. He has prospered for 30 years as a landlord.
He stresses buying better, well-located houses as opposed to less expensive houses or other income properties. Better houses are much more profitable and far less trouble. He advocates paying off debt, owning properties free and clear and maximizing cash flow by only buying properties with larger profit potential, financed so they produce immediate cash flow.
Dozens of John's students now teach national seminars based on his class. He is the author of three national best-selling books: Building Wealth One House at a Time (ranked a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10 by syndicated columnist Robert Bruss), Building Real Estate Wealth in a Changing Market, and Building Wealth Buying Foreclosures.
John's creative strategies for buying better, well-located houses have made millionaires out of thousands of Southern California investors. Houses are more profitable and far less trouble than apartments or commercial properties. He advocates paying off debt, tax free exchanging to improve cash flow, owning properties free and clear and renting only to long-term, high-quality tenants.
John is listed in the Hall of Fame of Who's Who in Creative Real Estate, featured on the cover of Personal Finance magazine and was recently quoted in Forbes magazine. Be sure not to miss this rare opportunity to hear him speak!
