Los Angeles CoffeeScript

Cargomatic provides the infrastructure, food, drinks
Panda Strike provides the Tequila.
Cargomatic and Panda Strike both really enjoy Tequila so we're going to have a Tequila tasting.

What To Expect

Beginner Track

StackSocial developer Arbind Thakur has created a self-paced tutorial, The Essence of CoffeeScript. We'll have people floating around to help out should you get stuck

Advanced Track

We'd like to foster an environment for discussion and collaboration. To facilitate this we encourage people to bring projects/ideas to show off and discuss

6:00 Tequila tasting, eat, drink, and mingle
6:30 Introductions, start beginner and advanced tracks

Leave a comment about what you're working on, any CoffeeScript projects you may be bringing with you, etc. so others can see what you're up to

I'm building a tool for a cool local DIY bike shop ( ) to help track their volunteer hours. Using Meteor/CoffeeScript, and would love some help with Mongo data models and queries.

Here's the state of the project now:

How can I say no to a CS meeting involving tequila and walking home??? I've got an old Django app that was using a half a javascript framework before bootstrap came to be. Perhaps its time to make the thing live!
