I like C, Perl, multiple variants of Lisp, Erlang. I'm comfortable in most of the others, including assembly languages and machine languages for many processors.
Yet another language with a community of loyal afficionados. The community is valuable to me.
Improvements to the core of PDL (the Perl Data Language), for 3D modeling. Software for design and performance analysis of the Tension-Compression structures for which Bucky Fuller coined the term, tensegrity. Website for making 3D models and virtual worlds, that uses the visitor's graphics adapter for rendering of results via the adapter's 3D accelerator features. Educational kits using BeagleBone Black, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, MSP430 and the like.
I'm a long-time platform- and language-agnostic software engineer eager to make new acquaintances and learn genuinely new paradigms. Grew up in SoCal, away many years, back now and loving it!
