Otherwise, this group is about the three most important things in the world:  friends, films, and food, not necessarily in that order. Our movie choices are very eclectic, including old ones, new ones, independent, foreign, and the biggest of big studio productions. There's something magical about seeing a movie on a big screen with a crowd of other people, especially friends. Comedies are funnier, thrillers are scarier, and tear-jerkers are tearier when the experience is shared.

At the moment, our focus is the Los Angeles city area, and venues will be chosen for their quality, which means that the Arclight, Landmark, Nuart, Royal, Aero, and Egyptian cinemas will predominate in our choices.

How does food fit in? Most movies will include dinner before or after, depending on the showtime, and our choices are, as often as possible, restaurants that are usually within walking distance of the theatres our movie choices are playing at.

The friendship part is up to you. This is a social group, after all, and it's about meeting people who want to share their love of the movies. If you join and never attend, you'll be missing out on meeting some of the most interesting people in LA, and they'll miss the chance to meet you as well.
