What do you hope to achieve by joining us?

As a member of this group I want to contribute my ideas and skills to help make great films that will be noticed by the professional film industry and the general public. I want to learn as much as I can about all the areas of the film making process so that one day I will be able to afford the chance to create and present my own films at future film festivals or wherever the opportunity is for distribution. At the same time as I grow in learning the art of film making I want to help others like myself who are new to the industry and help guide them in discovering their potential in becoming excellent at what they love to do in film. I am willing to do what ever it takes to survive in this competitive business and network with others who share the passion I have to want to be a part of making great films that will both stand out and make a difference through the message and stories that good films relay when they are done correctly. If I can make a difference than that is my goal.

What about production or filmmaking most interests you?

Out of all the many positions there are in the process of making films I love to be the man behind the camera who gets to film the action that takes place on the set first hand. Without the skills of a cameraman you can't tell the story you want the director to relay to his audience. The cameraman is essentially the one in my opinion who has the responsibility of taking all the combined talents of all those involved behind the scenes and capturing their efforts through the lens of a camera to tell a great story to its audience.

Describe the last production you worked on and what you did.

I have only gotten so far to be a part of one or two budget films doing grunt work and have also done background extra work which is how I developed my passion for film. Once I was exposed to seeing all the behind the scenes action and work that it takes place to create a movie I wanted nothing more than to learn how to make it my career in life. I feel I have a lot to learn but for me learning new aspects of the film industry is never boring no matter what job you do if you have the right attitude. The movie industry is a career that offers a chance to make a decent living, be creative, and even get the chance to travel. For me its a career that has endless potential and is a career that isn't going to go away any time soon. I feel this is what I was born to be a part of and will give me the opportunity to contribute my ideas and talents in so many areas that are needed in making great films.

Helllo my name is Abel. I am a novice freelance videographer who has a passion for film making and the film making production industry. I know it is a challenging and competive business but I want to be a part of this exciting career for many years.
