    BTW: I found out the cgo does support pkg-config. You can do things like:

    /*
    #cgo pkg-config: sqlite3
    #include <sqlite3.h>
    */
    import "C"

    The plan is to introduce the "C" module and how to use it. After that we'll write Go bindings to a C library. Below are some suggestions, but please add yours in the comments (remember that we don't want steep learning curve before getting to work).

    * curl
    * dbus
    * gsl
    * lua
    * curses
    * bsddb

    In this meetup we're going to write some code! So please make sure your go development environment is up to date. We'll also use git to share the code (everyone will work on part of the project), so please make sure you have a working git.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
