Introduction to programming and learning Ruby using Zed Shaw's "Learn Ruby the Hard Way"

This is a presentation for beginning programmers. If you don't know where to start with learning a programming language or learning Ruby, Zed Shaw's popular online book "Learn Ruby the Hard Way" may be a good introduction to Programming and Ruby for you. Our goal is to get you set up to start working through the exercises and to work through some of the exercises together.
You're encouraged to set up the following beforehand:
Install Ruby 1.9.2 on your laptop
Create a Github.com account
Go to the Learn Ruby the Hard Way website and read/work through the first few exercises.
If you need help getting set up you're encourage to arrive early
We'll begin the presentation around 7:00 PM
Folks uninterested in this presentation are, of course, free to hack on whatever they'd like...
