I am starting this focus group to learn what needs the MTF transgender community has in regards to Beauty. I am a professional Makeup Artist and Esthetician and am in the planning stages for a series of group and individual makeup and beauty workshops for MTF individuals. Before I start the workshops and create a guidebook, I would like to hold a focus group to learn what specific needs exist in the MTF Transgender community in regards to makeup and beauty. My goal is to help all women increase their self confidence and to fill a need in the MTF community.
Once I see how many people are interested in the focus group, I will choose a location in LA that provides a private, relaxed setting with appetizers and beverages. The meeting will be in September and will be held as an open forum, with time for guests to mingle. A Q &A session will conclude the focus group.
The focus group will be FREE of charge and everyone who attends will receive a complementary lip balm or lip gloss.
