Imbolc Rite

Raven's Cry Grove is pleased to invite you to our Imbolc Celebration in a warm, intimate setting at the Cameron Center. Join us as we honor Brigid and enjoy her inspiring and healing presence.

DATE: Saturday, February 6, 2010

LOCATION: Cameron Center, Thousand Oaks.

TIME: 6:30pm. Please feel free to arrive as early as 6:00.

-A suggested donation of $7-10 is requested in order to help defray the cost of the site. No one will be turned away from the ritual for lack of funds.

-A Pagan Potluck will be part of the event, please bring a dish to share. The Cameron Center has a kitchen, so dishes can be kept warm or cold.

-Parking is free, and the Cameron Center is accessible.

Raven's Cry Grove will be collecting food at our New Year Public Ritual to help the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. Show L.A. that we care! Raven's Cry Grove wishes to stand with you to serve our community by sharing the blessings of the Kindred in our lives. We ask that you join us in our efforts to feed those in need all around us. Donations of non-perishable food items are most welcome, especially as our regional foodbank supplies dwindle in these economic times. Through our efforts, let us share the blessings of our harvest with others.

Thanks for the kind words! Also, a huge thank you to coming out on a cold rainy day. Thanks for sharing in the ritual and adding your energy! Us in the grove only set the tone for the ritual, all the people joining in together in song and offering make the ritual ALIVE and rich for the gods and for our pagan community.

I thought it was AWESOME! I throughly enjoyed the ceremoney and met a great lady there that I really connected with which is what I was hoping for. Someone I could really talk to and had a lot in common with. This is my 2nd Meet-up and I am still amazed at how nice people are. There was so much positive energy in the room it was almost painful. The music and singing were beautiful! The allowance to request a blessing from the fire was very generous since I am not a member of the group. That what was so great about it. Even though I am not a member, I was a member that night. I intend to go to all their meetings. I learned a lot from seeing, watching and listening to what another group had to say and do. I highly recommend everyone to attend Raven's Cry Grove because they do something different every holiday or holy day. I saw several people from my first Meet-up there and they recognized me. Wow! I now feel a part of something I've been looking for all my life.

It was nice, Raven's Cry always puts on a good ritual. Very lively and energetic, from the heart. I also particularly like the fact that they've incorporated music and singing into the ritual work, it adds a lot.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
