So glad to see the positive feedback and that you all enjoyed your day. I am especially happy to hear about new people coming to the event and having a good experience. I know first hand, that the committee for the event needs help and support to make this happen next year...this is not some random thought, but a clear and direct request for people to join the board, volunteer, donate time/money/things needed in order for the event to happen in 2015. It is amazing what a very small group of people accomplish, but they are burning out and need your immediate support. Please check with the website and make contact with the organizers so that next year can happen.

It was a lot of fun. Weather not too hot. Had a great tarot reading, and purchased some gemstones that I did not have.

Great time, Brought 2 unfamiliars with me and they had a wonderful time and learned a couple things too. They got to ask questions and were surprised as to how friendly everyone was, seeing as how we're witches and all. They were also loving all the hand crafted items to be found, and we all ended up leaving with a few things. I was hoping to run into a friend there but didn't see her, Hello Jenn, I'm back. See you at the next meet. Thanks all, Blessed Be.

There will be several altars at the event. Please do not touch anything on the altar unless you are invited to do so. PPD is putting up a memorial altar to those in the community we have lost this year (and there have been a lot of them) . Please feel free to leave a COPY photo of someone you wish to remember. We are not responsible for anything left on the altar so please don't put anything precious (like original photos or mementos) on it.

We know that YOU know all of these courtesies, but the people who come with you might not, so please pass along the info.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday. It's going to be a magickal day!

We also have two collectible art designs this year that you can get on a t-shirt, tote bag or some other items at Cafepress.com/pplaoc. These designs will be available ONLY this year. Our art contest to pick next year's collectible design will happen in Spring of 2015.

We have been contacted by a media arts student with a request to film a ritual and do interviews. We will make an announcement at the ritual (we don't know which one yet) that we will be filming and where to stand if you don't want to be on camera. TALK RADIO LA is also planning to attend the event. These people will ask your permission if they would like to
interview or photograph you. You are free to say yes or no to their request.

If you are taking photos at the event, please ask permission of your subject first. Please DO NOT photograph rituals. Remember, you are dealing with Magickal people here and you do NOT want to be infested by computer gremlins for the rest of your life for not playing nicely.

This is also a food drive so please bring non-perishable (people and pet) food to donate to Food Finders. Last year we collected about 600 lbs of food. Let's see if we can beat that number this year. Food Finders booth will be directly across from the PPD booth closest to the
    parking lot.

We'll have our usual raffle of items donated by our vendors. Please be sure to stop by the PPD and purchase tickets. We will also be holding a 50/50 raffle where the winner will get half of the cash from sales of those tickets. The 50/50 raffle drawing will be called only at the 1st raffle of the day, which will be right after the MAIN ritual (around 1:55) . Your purchase of raffle tickets and other items at the PPD booth helps pay for the event.

Just a few more details from Gina...

Pagan Pride Day LA/OC is almost here! You can find the schedule of
    events here: http://www.paganpridela.org/future/schedule.html

Parking is $10. The City of Long Beach charges that, not us. We
recommend carpooling and public transportation. Some of the stops at the
end of the Blue Line are closed for construction but they have free
shuttle service from where it stops to Ocean Blvd. If you're planning to
get to the event in time for a specific workshop, ritual or
entertainment please allow yourself plenty of time if you're taking the
    Blue Line.

We will have 3 food trucks at the event so there should be plenty for
    most everyone's taste (including vegetarian)
    https://www.facebook.com/FreshStreetFoodTruck
    https://www.facebook.com/MustacheMikesTruck
    https://www.facebook.com/pages/Don-Pepes-Baja-Truck
You are welcome to bring your own food and have a picnic. We will be selling water and soda at the front booth.
