Opening The Gates to The Sidhe: an Irish Magical Beltaine Rite.

Sat May 10th, 7:30 pm $10 donation suggested, please bring a potluck dish to share. This is a ritual for the eve of Old Beltaine, usually around May 11th.

We gather to open the Comhla Brecc, the Speckled Gate, and commune with the spirits of the Sidhe, both greater and lesser. We use our voices and our wills. This is mostly an interior working and as such the rite is pretty sedentary. People are asked to wear comfortable clothing, or ritual garb, and something to sit on, like a cushion, to be comfortable during the journey process.

Presented by Murtagh anDoile and Ceolaire Saille of Nemed na Morrigna, Tuatha De Danann.

Murtagh anDoile is a Druid and Elder of the Tuatha de Danann (NECTW) , an Irish Mystery Tradition. He is the founder of TDD: The Ninth Wave, and Nemed na Morrigna. Tagh has been involved in the Pagan/Occult movement since 1968. He is an independent scholar and researcher, with a degree in Anthropology. He’s worked as an archaeologist for Brown University. He’s been published in several Pagan magazines and newsletters and was interviewed in “Keepers of the Flame: Interviews with Elders of Traditional Witchcraft in America.” Though talks given in the early 80s at Pagan festivals around the country, he inadvertently became one of the progenitors of the Celtic Reconstructionist Movement. He has been working with an Irish form of magic and witchcraft, and the spirits and gods of Ireland since 1977.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
