An Irish Rite of Spring with Raven's Cry Grove

A Rite Of Spring

Join Raven's Cry Grove for a Celtic celebration of the Joy Of Spring honoring the Irish Mother Goddess Danu. 

WHEN: Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 6:00pm. 

PRE-RITUAL DISCUSSION: For anyone who wants to learn about our ritual style and our ADF tradition of Neopagan Druidry, there will be a discussion with our Senior Druid, Mike, at 5:30pm. 

WHERE: The Cameron Center, 288 Greenmeadow Drive, Thousand Oaks (See below for directions and map.) 

--A donation of $10 is requested to help cover the cost of providing excellent public rituals! 

--After ritual we will enjoy a potluck and fellowship. The Cameron Center has a full kitchen, so we will have a real feast! Please support the Earth Mother by bringing your own reusable plate, mug, and utensils. 

--Please do not bring alcoholic beverages for the potluck. 

--Please feel free to bring personal offerings for the ancestors, nature spirits, and deities. It does not need to be biodegradable, but should be non-toxic if buried or put into water. 

--We will be collecting nonperishable food items (canned or dry goods) for a local foodbank. Let us share our blessings with those who hunger while we feast.

Take the 101 Fwy to Thousand Oaks and exit Lynn Road. From the exit ramp turn South onto Lynn Road. (South is a left turn if you were on the 101W, a right turn if you were on the 101E.) At the first light take a left onto Greenmeadow Drive. Follow Greenmeadow for a few blocks to where it dead ends. Turn into the long driveway to your left and follow it to the parking lot of the Cameron Center. Parking is free!
