Hello there! I have listened to everyone going back and forth and really hope that you find your lost dog. I had a pet that was lost twice now, and she is named Coyote, and I appealed to Coyote the trickster to bring her back, and he did. Second time I appealed to Papa Legua and he brought her home safe for me. I find that it helps a great deal to appeal to a deity, especially one that has a relationship with the type of animal you lost, if you have or are willing to build a relationship with that deity. I know that Hecate is a Goddess with a soft spot for dogs as well as many of the Egyptian deities like Anubus. You may try one of those, or any deity that has a connection to the animal world more than others like the God of the Hunt, or the Mother Gaia.
Just some thoughts. But keep in mind that for everything that the Deities help you with may require you to "pay the coin," and make sure you are comfortable working with a deity before you ask for their help, because, if they ask you for something, they expect that you will repay the favor by doing it. Papa Legua wanted steak, I gave it to him. But, if they ask you for something you are not comfortable giving, remember, they will respect your boundaries if you say, "I'm a vegetarian and can't give you steak, will you except Tofu?" And if they say yes, than it's a deal. You get what I mean? Deities may not ask you for anything, but some might. Well, good luck.

Wow - I'm generally the strong silent type and don't speak up much. However, in this case, I'm concerned about the suggestions everyone is making.
There are a lot of misconceptions and misunderstandings how any faith works, regardless if it's pagan, wicca, christianity, etc. (yes I said the C word so get over it)
You didn't deserve to have your dog stolen - period. It wasn't karma per se, it wasn't pay back or any other such stupidity. Just as you may have spoiled food in the refrigerator, you loose money in a vending machine, etc, bad things happen to everyone, good people and bad people.
If you genuinely know your pet was stolen, then you may have an idea who stole it or were it was stolen from. If your pet was lost, as in it ran away and did not come home, that's a different story.
Now - on with recovering your pet. I saw someone earlier sent you a spell, the spell is to draw positive energy to you and your efforts of recovery. Be sure you work with your pets favorite toy to help bring the aura of their energy into the spell.
Ignore those that insinuate you were not deserving of your pet or that it was your fault. Like any religion, there are the fire and brimstone types and then there are the more moderate types. Don't argue with them, that only validates their nonsense.
