Hello LA Rock Music Fans,
This is rather last minute but I'll make no apologies! I've done a LOT of lurking here but have not been active enough. I have a pedal-to-the-metal "4th Wave" surf band (think Dick Dale + Led Zep) named "Chum". This is part of a long line of bands over the years that I have fronted from this genre. My previous instro band "The MiGs" took a hiatus several years back and our drummer from that era is now Stevie Nicks' drummer. I try to work with the best! After a slew of bands and deals etc. I happily circle back to this genre of music. There are no vocals, be forewarned! We do, however rock a blistering cover of Zep's "Immigrant Song" surf style. Earlier this year Chum lost their other guitarist and I had just wrapped up a European tour with the Fuzztones. I was yearning to do instrumental music again. The stoke is fresh and I wish to invite you to feel it! Sharing the night is an amazing surf band called Los Muertones. All of this is FREE Saturday Night Nov. 3rd at "The Rack" in Tarazana. This is a pizza joint which adds to the fun. No fancy club, no fancy lights. Despite this, the venue has amazing rock and roll memorabilia on the walls. Perhaps the best collection in LA and far more authentic than HOB etc. I am not joking. If you don't like the music, you should come for the "venue". So have I sold you yet? Enough lurking for me. Come rock with me! If you do show PLEASE introduce yourself!
