The Granada has always been a favorite venue for our group. It went through a change in management and we took a break from going there, but I hear all is back to normal, so I am excited to go back. They have Son Mayor playing live music and they are fantastic.
We'll meet at 9.30pm right when the open dancing starts. Parking is free and located at a 4-story parking structure across the street, on the lot behind the building and surrounding streets. The cover charge is $10, may be more after 10pm. The place stays open till 2am, but I usually leave around midnight.
Don't hesitate to come without knowing anyone. That is how most people join us. Just try to come early when it is easy to find people, but even if you come a little later you can just find anyone with a wrist glowband and they can tell you where our area is (we try to grab a table in the bar of the main ballroom, if we can, but I cannot say exactly where) and where I am. I'll introduce you to as many people as I can.
PLEASE HONOR YOUR RSVPS, WE DO TAKE ATTENDANCE AT ALL EVENTS AND ENFORCE A NO-FLAKING POLICY WITH REPEAT NO-SHOWS.
They have classes before open dancing you may want to consider taking:7.30pm: Cha Cha 1, 8.30pm: Intro to Salsa and also 8.30pm: Salsa 2
See you there!
