The Spot Cafe Meetup






We have become a close-knit group of friends meeting every Thursday at Spot Cafe in Culver City to practice our Spanish. The environment is casual and we usually have multiple conversations going on at the same time.

We welcome new members at all levels of speaking ability -- we only ask that you try not to use English during the meeting if at all possible.

A lot of you have asked if it's OK to show up late and the answer is yes. We usually hang out until around 9:30 or sometimes as late as 10 pm.

About the Venue:
Spot Cafe serves coffee, sandwiches, salads, soups and pastries. Spot Cafe does not require everyone to buy something to eat or drink, but if you can afford it please try to help support the venue since they have been so gracious in letting us hold our meetings there for so long.

    Hi. I'm new to the group and was hoping to check out whats it's like. I'm naturally VERY shy and even more so when I attempt to speak Spanish since I'm pretty bad at it.
