This group is intended to create a community for people who either have chickens or are thinking seriously about getting chickens. You should join if you like the idea of fresh eggs, local, ethical food and enjoy sharing your life with the amazing creatures that hens and roosters are. We also have the most awesome message board under the discussion tab, by joining you get to share your experiences and  and ask and hear from others.

We are a very diverse family of chicken lovers and welcome you with open arms!

ps, we offer great events most of them completely free. However, donations to run this community are greatly appreciated. You can click on the "chip in" button right below this area, OR pay thru paypal thru this link,

"This time of year the BSF typically go dormant or close to it. My biopod has very little activity usually in winter. They just go dormant until it warms up and then they usually go crazy again...."
