I just called Jane and I'm interested but I am just going to check with my neighbor regarding the rooster. Many of my neighbors have chickens but no rooster so I want to be considerate and make sure they know a rooster will be coming to our home.

Hi, I have an elderly friend who is losing her residence due to the economy on Aug 31. She has a rooster and a silky hen that need to go to a home that will love them, not eat them. She is in Woodland Hills, and she would appreciate to hear from anyone who could help. We have tried all the animal rescue places, and they are all full, so no need to mention them. We are up against a time crunch and have many other things to attend to, so if someone who can have a rooster and hen would step forward, it would be a load off her mind. Call her (don't text) at: [masked]. Thanks, ~Sue
