For anyone that is not also getting updates, along with other announcements, Donna at Long Beach Grows was nice enough to send the following out yesterday. I knew there were interested folks here that might what to know how it is progressing:

November 27, next Tuesday, at 5:00 pm: The Environmental Committee of the City of Long Beach's City Council will be meeting at City Council chambers to once again discuss urban agriculture. Although the item is on the agenda, per Broc Coward, 2nd district councilmember Suja Lowenthal's Chief of Staff, "Staff informed our office that they will not be making any recommendations to the committee at this point as they are still researching the topic. Staff plans on giving an update to the committee and sharing a draft community survey."

Thanks for letting us know. I put it up as a meetup so that a few people can make it at least to show that interest isn't dying. But it does look like from the agenda that they want a quick meeting to just say that they had a meeting.
