I still am not sure why it's so bad to let them chickens at the compost? I love that Vermont composting company uses chickens! They are earning their keep. I think it's really cool, personally and my hens seem so happy that there is something to scratch in. They love the bugs!

compost is so good and i think they do a great job turning the compost. This is the floor of their coop which i want to be dry and sweet smelling. I crossed the sweet smell line ...
