Rails Girls LA

Rails Girls is a two-day non-profit event targeted at women to give them a great first experience in software craftmanship. We aim to impart inspiration to get started, tools to understand technology, and an open, supportive community. Rails Girls is not just about programming, it’s about building things. During this free two-day workshop we'll dive into the magical world of Ruby on Rails. Attendees with build their first Ruby on Rails application with help and guidance from their coach. We will also have inspiring lightning talks and exercises.

You learn designing, prototyping and coding with the help from our coaches.

You need your own laptop, curiosity and a sprinkle of imagination!

Great event. Super informative and fun! Adam Zubery was a great coach, and he shared useful resources and tips. Motivated to move forward. See everyone at the future Rails meetups!

Had a great time meeting some of you this past Saturday at Rails Girls! Hope to continue attending more events. Does anyone have the Slideshare link for all the speaker presentations by chance?

Unfortunately I missed today's festivities due to a Web Design class mid term website project due on Monday morning. Hope everyone had a great time. Missed it.
