Introduction
I'm Gabrielle a 33yo SAHM, w/ 2.5 yo DD, and 8 mo DS. I have background metal Fab & CNC operation. DD is getting to the right age, I want to be able to take her to crashspaces and show her the power of DIY, and being able to manipulate raw materials
Tell us a bit about your interest in DIY, Making, or Education.
I have done a welding apprenticeship and worked as a CNC cutting torch table op.. I have fabricated custom parts for dune buggies and trophy trucks.. I am totally empowered by the ability to alter and manipulate metal.. Its an incredible skill, that I cannot wait to pass on to my daughter... I want to hone my own skills while growing my children's enthusiasm for the power and confidence that come from the DIY mentality.

Hi Gabrielle, yes I'd love to get together. My daughter is almost 20mos. & is very active so I like to take her to the playground quite a bit. I already have a set park meetup on Mon, Weds. Fri. at Canyon Country Park 9:30am. I walk there from my home and meet a few other moms. It would be great if you could come. There is one lady that has a 18mo old adorable little girl and another lady that has a 17mo old boy. If that doesn't work for you maybe we can meetup on a Tues or Thurs. Let me know, k

It is hard to meet people but, I have found that through all these mom's groups I meet a lot of people and have luckily met a few good friends from them. Have you tried the Luna Mom's Club as well? We meet once a week on Thursdays for a playdate. I'm looking forward to this group and all the meetups that are upcoming! I live near Central Park so if you ever want to meet for a playdate, let me know!

Hey there! I am in Castaic, I am a SAHM as well. I lived in VA for three years and have moved around a lot. I have a baby girl as well, she is 8 months old now. Her name is Milijana (Mili-yana), it's European. Hope to meet other moms around here!
