Hello Foodie Couples

We are a friendly, fun-loving couple that are incredibly passionate about good food and wine. We are looking for others who share this love so we can explore new restaurants together, have dinner parties, and conduct private wine tastings from our collections. Or maybe plan trips to wine country.

How to tell if this is the right group for you:

1) You think nothing of driving across town to try out the latest restaurant opening. Even a weeknight is ok because you don't need a sitter and who needs 8 hours of sleep when there is a good meal to be had? And you will order more food that you really need just "so you can see what the chef can do."

2) You think unique ethnic food is something worth seeking out, not yucky. And if it is a BYOB place, that is a plus.

3) You are into wine enough to at least consider serving different wine to the friends who "get it" versus the friends who don't. You bring really good mature wine to restaurants and happily pay corkage. You adore and appreciate fine wine, but you are not a "wine snob."

4) If, after drinking said wine, the conversation turns to politics or religion, you will still be friends with everyone the next day no matter how red or blue they are.

5) You have planned vacations around food and wine. Maybe even all of them.

6) Age is not that important to you; we are both a young 42. Target age for this group is 30-55.

7)Not only are you not a flake, you think people who commit and don't show up (without calling) are beneath contempt.

8) Extra Credit: You embrace the Internet and use it to research all your food, wine, and other activities.
