What technologies are you currenly working with?

LAMP, Linux, PHP, Magento eCommerce, GIMP, HTML5, CSS, Wordpress and a few others. After finishing a couple of Magento sites, plan to look into rootable Embedded Linux devices, as small and smaller than the Raspberry PI. Like the new capability of HTML5 to allow us to create websites with functionality when not connected to the Internet.

You started when programs were stored: A) On punchcards, B) on cassette tapes, C) on floppies, D) on hard drives, E) on webservers, F) on AWS or elsewhere in the cloud, G) Other?

A) Punchcards / 7, 8 and 9 Track Tape Units on an IBM 360/Amdhal 470 with 32K of RAM memory. 20 TSO Users would drag it to its knees. Mainframe at work and TRS-80 Model III at home, so while I used my friends cassette tape (TRS 80 Model I) I was spoiled with a floppy drive (III). Started in mainframe operations for work while programming in PL/C, Fortran 77, Watfiv and Cobol at college. My first SOHO programming role utilized a Commodore 64 to control a walk-in Environmental Chamber for the Army.

My bragging rights were earned by doing this:

~ Being presented with things others either thought could not be done or that they did not know how to do and successfully analyzing, resolving and completing the project/task. ~ Being as capable in a corporate Fortune 100 setting as the SOHO market. Looking forward to helping those Small Office Home Office businesses not only become larger, but to create profit and jobs for others. ~ Helping others accomplish their dreams and realizing my dreams in the process.

In hell, they develop software using/for/on: ?

proprietary bits, pieces and chips that promise you the world and coming up short.
