I am currently creating a portfolio of the works I have done in Down Town Los Angeles.
I enjoy working with wood, paper, pen and ink and electronics.
I began my figure drwing in early high school. I studied at Art Center's Saturday high. During that time I would stay for the later workshops and sneak into workshops that were held throughout the week for the college students. In my first year of junior college I learned from anyone that I could by watching their strengths. I have been a regular at a few workshops as well as taking community college figure drawing courses to keep up my practice of foundation drawing. Figure drawing to me is the practice of using both hemispheres of the mind as well as the practice of strengthening the connection between mind, eyes and hands. It is beautiful and challenging. It is a mirror for humanity.
My other interests also include music. I have been DJing in and around Los Angeles since 1994 and I continue to put on dance events.
My passion is simple. I follow my heart. I live for the moment when an idea becomes flesh. If I have an idea I do whatever it takes and learn whatever I need to learn how to do to make that idea a reality.
I am a North East Los Angeles native college drop out.
