It’s time for the 2nd International Tea Festival at the Japanese American National Museum! It runs Oct. 27th to 28th from 11 AM - 5 PM this year. It was heavily attended last year and I expect even more attendance this year so you might want to go early in the day. I can't attend much of the festival this time so this has to be a no-host event.
Please see the festival website at teafestivalla.com for festival and parking details.
There is conflicting information going around about the pricing scheme, including what the tea sommelier program ticket covers. It is my understanding that the $5/day "Dianna Discount" (whisper it like you're getting into a speakeasy, hee, hee! -- just a joke!) for Meetup that I was able to get for you is supposed to cover at least the following:
- Admission to the Festival Hall & Museum
- Tastings offered by Various Vendors
- World Origins Tour Presentation (Sunday)
- Japanese Tea Ceremony
- Goodie Bag
All the Presentations are of limited seating
and are on first come, first serve basis.
