What Margaret S. is saying about this Meetup Group

Hi everybody. I'm new, just since last night. Yesterday I met with Dianna Harbin at The Portfolio in Long Beach. Portfolio is mostly a coffee house, but it is one of the few places in Long Beach where you can buy loose tea. I will be organizing tea events in Long Beach for anyone who has an interest in coming here. I am looking for possible meeting places to set up a Saturday morning tea and talk on a regular basis. We have several places that are possibilities. There are two tea rooms, but they are very formal, Victorian style. We have a number of places that are coffee and tea, two of which sell loose tea by the small pot full. Anyone interested in attending tea meetings in Long Beach, please let me know. I hope to bring The Meaning of Tea to Long Beach, also. To do that, however, we need to show the people of The Meaning of Tea project that we have enough interest here
