    Hi Mick,

If you are looking for possible additional venues we should normally have spare room for some MTG tables at our boardgame meetups although the dates/times might not be as suitable for you.
Obviously there's a big cross-over between MTG players and boardgame players anyway.

Asda meetups there is no booking fee. Pin Green there is a fee to pay for room but only about £2 each.

It might also be worth speaking to Asda directly - they have a community room you can hire for free which is probably available on Tuesdays. The only downside is they want people to leave by 10pm rather than 11pm.

Hi John - thanks for your message, much appreciated. That could work - I'll have a chat with them.

    FYI

I saw some unhinged going on ebay!?

also I think it should be more of a 50 50 split if poss. get 2 boosters from different sets if you are able to get hold of them. also as it's going to be random. if you are going to make it 75% current sets, to make sure everyone gets a mixture put the current sets in one "Mystery bag" and then the older sets in another "Mystery bag" maybe. That way everyone gets an even split of current and old?

    Thoughts?

I like the idea of the mystery set split - current in one and older in the other - and have all the boosters I need for the night. I'll try and make the split as even and fair as possible. It's going to be a 50 50 split between older stuff and current stuff.

Right, so providing all the boosters arrive on time I have a great mix of cards now, and there are some FANTASTIC packs to open. You'll want to be at this Meetup for sure and it's the last one before christmas.

On the case Mick, will try and get hold of some interesting older boosters. They should be seen as a luxury though, maybe just single boosters from say modern masters or singles from older sets. I'd suggest 50%-75% from Ravnica - Theros then 25% from older sets. What you pull out of santas sack is random so although it may cost a little more there is a chance you'll be the lucky one and get the expensive / rare booster for your pool although you'll have to pass it on so everyone will get a look... Just not the rare lol. Ill email you some item numbers :)

If anyone sees older boosters going on Ebay etc for a reasonable price please send me an item number and I'll take a look. Likewise if you can get hold of or have older boosters please let me know. You can email me direct at [masked] rather than displaying it on this Meetup page.
