Welcome to the Loughborough Social Club.

I started up the Loughborough Social because I felt there was a little gap between the 3 main East Midland cities of Leic, Derby and Notts, and Loughborough is a good centre point for those unable to travel to one of the larger groups or just wanted something local.

The idea is to meet regularly for social events and to give you the opportunity to make friends and socialise. Between all the meet up groups around, there's lots and lots of activities so hopefully Loughborough can also provide something for everyone to add to their calendars.

I started the group in June 2012 and we have a great group and everyone is very friendly and welcoming to new comers, so don't be shy and don't worry, just pop along, make sure you have a recent photo (so we can look out for you) and enjoy. :)

Membership is FREE - However, half yearly we ask for a contribution from members who attend our events. This is to cover the cost of fees charged by the Meet Up website. So far we have asked for a small donation of £4.
