Louisville Hash #146

Louisville Hash #146 - 11/1/14 @ 3pm - Paul Yost - Meet the Beaver!

Join Meat the Beaver for a short, flat, and shiggy free trail. He promises!? insert wink, wink here.

Suggested to wear long socks or pants. Not because of shiggy. I wouldn't take you through shiggy.

Suggested to wear shoes with good tread. Not because I'm taking you up the side of hills. I wouldn't do that to you.

Suggested to bring a layers. Not because the hash will be ~10k (with multiple drink stops) and it might be nice to pull off a layer due to overheating. I would never lie to you.

On-after is TBD, but I talked to the neighborhood BBQ joint and they don't mind if we BYOB and drink from plastic cups.

Here is a map with basic roads for the start:

GPS coordinates for the start: 38° 5'7.13"N 85°45'14.06"W

Take either the New Cut Road exit 6 or the National Turnpike exit 8 off of the Gene Snyder (KY-841) and head south to Fairdale (you will need to turn right onto Fairdale Rd from National Turnpike then right onto Manslick Rd and quick left onto Mitchell Hill Rd). Go South on Mitchell Hill Rd for about a mile. Turn left onto Holsclaw Hill Rd and go less than a mile and look for the Paul Yost Rec Area on your left. Park and get ready for a shiggy free (???) romp in the woods! -Kotex

We meet every other Saturday at 3 pm Summer (DST=Summer!) and 2 pm Winter - Hares away at :30 after the hour!

Details on where to meet will follow. New comers (virgins) are for "free".

I saw BYOB. My neighbor moved and gave me some Chevis Regal and Jim Beam Ghost. Anyone like that? I could bring it if someone wants it.

It's a little cool out there, but the sun is trying to break through the clouds. A quick recommendation: please bring a jacket that you can put on after the run. It's going to be comfortable while we're moving, but it may be cold in circle after you get sweaty. Also, there will be a Turkey/Eagle split for those who are less adventurous.

Is anyone planning on coming in costume? Or wearing a costume to the hash?

Great news! I'm bringing a virgin! Sir Lesbo Lad and Just David know her (Melissa Davis). She's not new to running but it will be her first hash.

Why does this site state that we will no longer have an organizer in 15 days?

I hope your ball feels better fast. Maybe you should put some heat on your ball .oh...rest your ball and get plenty of fluids. By Saturday your ball will feel great. Ball. Ball.Ball. Ball.

You are such a baller. Can't wait to have a ball with my ball on Beaverz trail. Perhaps you too would enjoy a ball. Maybe even on trail.

Good, my titanium ball is aching and having a short, non shiggy, easy trail is just what I need. Refreshing to have something nice and calm for once. Ahhhh... I can hear my ball singing!
