Want to be able to lead your own trail day and be a steward to the land YOU own? Here's your chance!
On Saturday, May 31st, join us at the Pine Crest Lodge in Beattyville for trail crew leader/land steward training. Here, you'll learn proper, sustainable trail building techniques, including site assessment for erosion control and impact mitigation. You will also learn how to organize, plan and lead trail days.
We are looking for people who are committed to learning and leading future trail days in the Red River Gorge. Attendees will be an integral part of continuing trail days in the Red River Gorge, including Johnny and Alex Trail Days.
With more land we need more volunteers, especially people who are willing to organize and lead their own trail days. If this sounds like you, please plan to attend! More details will follow, so stay tuned!
