Introduction
Hello! My name is Angela, and I provide leadership to Membership Services for the LRC Meetup group. I've been a member of LRC Meetup since 1/2012. I love this group because of the athletic challenges and camaraderie experienced when I climb.
How did you hear about us?
I learned about LRC Meetup by researching the different options of groups to join after initially subscribing to Meetup.
Have you ever rock climbed before?
I've been rock climbing since I joined LRC Meetup in January, 2012.
If yes, what would you say is your current skill level (based on the "Members How to Guide" found under the 'Pages' tab)?

Have you been to Rocksport before? Hesters?
When I climb indoors, I normally do top rope climbing at Rocksport and bouldering at Hester's. When I climb outdoors, I love going to the Red River Gorge and Horse Pens 40. I'm excited about exploring more outdoor locations during spring, summer, and fall months... provided it's at least 50 degrees or warmer! : )
Do you know how to belay using a GriGri or an ATC?

Hey Angela! It's cool to see you're into scuba I'm working on my certification now. Maybe we can go on some dives in the future! I'll be out to rocksport Friday around 6:30 if you want to climb a bit let me know! Hope to see yasoon!

Seems like we'll be back to three meetups a week soon as the weather gets nicer, one of them is frequently the training series. I'll be skipping those for the next few months though until my hand recovers. As a new climber I would only go to those if you see another new climber there. Then you can feel like you're training at your level. Otherwise Mandy's training may be a little overwhelming! Given how you took to your first day, it won't be long until you are ready for that though. Cheers!
