Dreaming of Cruelty Free Ice Cream? I know I certainly do!
Ice cream has been my favorite sweet all my life. When I became a vegetarian, and realized my lactose intolerance, I thought I would miss out on my favorite way of getting dessert. Not in the town of Louisville!
Even as a 100% vegan, I find a cornucopia of flavors and styles both in the grocery store as well as awesome places like Annie May's Sweet Cafe. We can get our treat on, home made style!
Come support a lovely little gem with multiple vegan alternatives and chat up other vegans, vegetairians, or curious omnivores who are getting by in the area. You may make a friend, learn of a cool new resturant, or perhaps just bask in the glow of like minded inviduals enjoying a timeless treat as the end of summer starts tolling.
Vegan Flavors available for purchase:
- Chocolate Mocha Chip
- Manga Sorbet
- Strawberry Sorbet.
There are also Vegan Ice Cream Sandwiches available.
Vegan Toppings available as an add on purchase:
- Ganache
- chocolate chips
- sprinkles
- cookie crumbles
- fruit compote
Dairy based (soy and egg free) flavors are:
- Mint Chocolate Chip
- Vanilla
Dairy based toppings are the Caramel Sauce and the whipped cream.

This is an official meetup. Although the cafe is open sooner than our event time, availability of LVI meetup members being present before start time or after end time is not assured.
The food is not free and will be available for purchase at the register.
