February Hardware Startup Meetup

Once again, it's time for Louisville's monthly Hardware Startup Meetup! We had a great meeting last month, and lots has happened since then. We'll meet at iHub on February 24th, starting at 6:30pm. iHub is generous enough to host us again, so be sure to let folks know!

Our January Meetup was really great! We had three different groups of people bring Hardware to show off, and had a great discussion on failure, at both a boots-on-the-ground engineering level, and a higher business level.  We also had a great discussion about how entrepreneurs can predict the "next big thing." I'm looking forward to some more great topics this month!

If you're interested in giving a two-minute pitch, sign up here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoV_icNlfqiAdGxvMHBoYlpNZmxDQTN1V2hwNVdPcUE&usp=sharing

For folks who don't know, our two-minute pitches are strictly time-limited pitches about anything you want, whether it's your hardware startup, your crowdfunding campaign, or you're looking for work, this is your time to shine.

Format will be the same as usual:

Schedule:

6:30-7:00 Meet and greet
7:00-7:45 2-minute pitches
7:45-8:15 Open Forum
8:15-9:30 Social hour!

We've received a very generous donation to help us sponsor refreshments this month, but if you'd like to help out in future months, let me know!

Hopefully it'll be a little warmer this month than last, but I couldn't be happier with the way this meetup is progressing.  See you all on the 24th!
