This month we'll be meeting at the new LVL1 Hackerspace (which will also be the site of this year's Software Freedom Day on Sept. 18).

Our program will include a presentation by Jim Troy on:

Websockets Better than AJAX! A new standard, included in HTML5, that allows two-way communications (push and pull) between web browser and server without the overhead of HTTP. Read about it at Wikipedia.

Other presentations may also be made. (Speak up!)

Plus we'll be talking about our preparations for Software Freedom Day.

When: Wednesday, September 8,[masked]:00 PM

Where: LVL1 - Louisville's Hackerspace
814 East Broadway (rear) (Park in rear lot and enter from alley)
Louisville, KY 40204
