Just a quick reminder (to those of you who are not on the KYOSS mailing list) that we have our monthly meetup tonight (Wednesday, July 8).

Note that our new meeting time (new as of last month) is 6 p.m.

For the third month, we'll meet at the offices of Peak 10, 752 Barret Ave.

Our thanks to Dave Vrona of Peak 10 for hosting us and for providing refreshments (pizza!!).

We've had great turnouts since we started meeting at Peak 10. (Thirty at last month's meeting.) It's a great opportunity to get out of the house and get to know some fellow geeks.

This is our monthly KYOSS meeting, a joint meeting of the Linux Meetup and the Open Source Programming Meetup.

The program will cover several topics, among them:
  • Virtualization -- Another installment in our series on virtualization, this month on Citrix Xen and Proxmox.
  • Regex -- A tutorial on regular expressions, awk, and sed.
  • Google Apps  -- A presentation on the Google App Engine.
We look forward to seeing you there!

-- John

P.S. It helps us plan the refreshments if you RSVP at meetup.com: http://www.meetup.com/LouisvilleOpenSourceProgramming/calendar/10624561/
