The network manages transactions and issuance of Bitcoins. Its origin, varied levels of acceptance by government regulators, slow adoption by business, popularity with developers, interest by leading venture capital firms, amongst several other twists and turns, is mysterious and enigmatic to some and perhaps an early adoption platform for others.
