Meditate and Create with Pastels

Whether you're a budding Picasso or you haven't picked up a paint brush since you were 5 years old this is for you. Come and take part in a fun and playful art class, using guided meditation to ease you into a pure, uncluttered and creative head space.

This class will be designed to help get you out of your own way and into a free- flowing space of creativity where you can create from the heart without your own judgement or over-analysis limiting or hampering your creations.

Pastels are a wonderfully versatile medium and are great for experienced artists as well as complete novices! Chalk pastels allow you to blend and smudge. Oil pastels are great for layering and creating texture. Both are wonderfully satisfying and malleable….

…Absolutely no artistic 'talent' or experience required!

You may create a masterpiece or you may create some scribbles, either is perfect and the main objective is to have fun, so come, laugh and play :)

Oil and Chalk pastels, as well as all other materials you need, so just bring your inner-child.

Be in the moment, create and play like you did when you were 3 years old, without any concern for what the finished masterpiece will look like. When you truly let go, that's when the magic happens!

As an adult we don't afford ourselves much time to just play and this is the perfect way to de-stress, feed your soul through creativity and heal by having fun.

The Gateway Studio is 5 mins walk from Kennington tube (1 stop from Waterloo/3 stops from London Bridge on the Northern line) or 10 mins walk from Vauxhall (2 stops from Victoria on the Victoria line). There's free parking evenings and weekends in the area.
