Our next meeting will be March 23rd, Saturday, at 6 PM, in Tarpon Springs, 1029 Hamilton Avenue. We have a unique and ambicious agenda. We are going to teach or be taught (depending on your skill leve) how to play "Let It Be," by the Beatles. In the song will be chords, finger picking and two riffs. To say the least, it should be an interesting meeting so BRING YOUR UKULELE. Look forward to seeing all our member there. Geo.

It was great, we had seven people in attendance. Our skill level at the meeting ranged from just buying a ukulele yesterday to 30 years of string instrument background. This diversity enriched the experience for all. After introductions, we discussed ukuleles and specifically those we brought with us. Next, as a group, we tackled the song "Let It Be" by the Beatles. This included learning the complex introduction and two riffs. We also discussed tablature and how to write them. The experienced members of the group added significantly to these discussions. It was clearly a 5 star meeting.

All you experts out there join us, you can help us reach our goal of becoming expert ukulele players. Seriously, your input is needed and desired. The song we are going to learn is complicated and we need all the tips and tricks we can get. So plan on being at our next meeting, thanks Geo.
