This was my first class with Maker and I thought it was great. I am always interested in communities that teach something novel and then watch for insight. This class did just that.

People bringing their own laptop might benefit from installing the Arduino IDE beforehand. Windows and Mac users can download from http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software (see the section "Arduino IDE"). Linux users are probably best served by installing from their distribution's standard software repository, although can manually install from the URL above as well.

I RSVP'd, but I was intending to be a helper. Do you want me to change the RSVP?

Let me know what arduino is being used. I have one as well as a laptop that possibly another person could attend.

I'm happy to attend as a helper, rather than taking up one of the 10 slots.
